Services and Charges

We provide a number of services:

 


 

Breakfast Club

Session times 7.45 - 8.55

The children can enjoy a wide range of activies before being escorted to school.

Cost is £4.00 per child per session including toast and a drink.


Arts and Crafts

 

 

After School Club

Session times: 3.25pm - 6.00pm.

Includes a healthy hearty meal (e.g. Shepherds Pie, Curry, Pasta, Homemade Stews and Soups. Plus Sandwiches and Fresh Fruit). The children will be collected from school (details under 'Pickup service' below) and taken to the club where they can enjoy a wide range of activities as described below. When the weather allows we venture outside for fresh air. The children are, of course, supervised at all times.

Cost is £6.50 per child per session.

 

Holiday Club

Session times:8.00am - 6.00pm

Children from all areas attend the holiday club but please be aware that we are only able to cover Calderdale school holidays only.

Please contact Sue for a list of a list of dates covered.

The club will provide snacks throughout the day but you will be asked to provide a packed lunch.

While in the club all activities described below will be available, in addition we will also include various others:

  • Visits to Shibden park.
  • Visits to the local park
  • Team games in the field (behind the church)
  • Baking
  • Swimming (for the over 8s)
  • Visits from the ice cream van
  • Party games
  • Bus trips (when we get really daring!!)

All activities away from the club will be subject to parent's permission and will be subject to an additional charge where necessary.

Cost is £18.00 per child for a full session of 8 hours or over; £11.00 per child for a morning or afternoon session of up to 5 hours; £14.00 for a 9am - 3pm session. Please speak to us, in advance, if you require any particular hours outside of the norm, we try to be as flexible as possible.

Drop off and pickup service (for the before and after school club)

For the pickup service we meet children from Northowram Primary School after the final bell at 3.25pm outside the main entrance, from there we walk the children 'en masse' to the community centre. For road safety and for security the children wear fluorescent tabards.

For the drop off service the reverse is true, children can be dropped off at the community centre any time after 7.45am.

The pickup service is free of charge (cost is included in the charge for the after school club).

 

Activities provided.

We have a good stock of equipment to enable:

  • Arts and crafts, painting, play dough, drawing.
  • Air Hockey
  • Lego and other construction toys
  • Home corner (pretend play)
  • Board games
  • A quiet area with easy chairs for homework, books, comics and magazines (plus a CD player)
  • A relaxing area for TV, video and computer games.

Activities are fully supervised at all times.

 

 


We have ample space for football !
